Your OM yoga Challenge Thoughts ... In Your Own Words!

The second of it's kind at OM "Yoga Challenge" has been a huge success, with nearly 100 people participating!

Here are some stories from the Challenge - we will keep updating them as we get them! (Thanks to all the Challengers who are sharing their thoughts with us!)

The Challengers weigh in on how they're doing...

Check out OMmie Brett Boyar's blog - he is doing the OM Challenge in Thailand and Tokyo!

"This is a great way to meet new people and take classes I've never taking before especially with teachers I've never met. Day nine and I've noticed a huge difference in my energy levels as well as my yoga practice. I am having such a great month and I know a lot of it is due to the dedication and passion I've committed to during the Challenge! I truly LOVE OM!"

Here are some quotes from the OM Challengers!

"The Challenge is a joy!"

"I feel so great and very open!"

"I feel more awake every day!"

"I Love it, its like a gift to myself everyday"!

"I wanted to write you a note to tell you how much I am appreciating the yoga challenge, for so many reasons.  This morning, the two top reasons are that it is making the practice of "savasana" (in all of its forms) more important and more present in my daily life.  And I'm loving that and feeling a difference.  (I'm not a tattoo girl but if I were, I think I now know what word I'd pick for my bicep).

The second reason this morning is something I heard another OMmie mention in class.  She said she has to say "no" to people to make time for yoga every day and how that is hard to do, not for the people but for herself.  I, too, am experiencing that carving space for yoga and for other things for myself, takes saying "no" to other things - and that saying "no" boldly, proudly and clearly in itself does something for strenthening and nurturing my balanced self.   I am so busy (swamped, actually) with my up-coming show.  Yet.  Having, each day, time that is mindful and yet not "work, errands or obligations" makes the experience of my day so much better.  Fuller and more satisfying.

Another OM yoga challenge benefit is that the OM community, which was already fan-tabulous, feels more bonded - and definitely more chatty!  While I used to nod and smile at people, now I talk to others so much more than before.  It's so...lovely.

I love being a part of the OM community.  Thank you!"
