 
Our nationally renowned Teacher Training programs offer several opportunities each year for students with a committed yoga practice of two years or more to receive certification through regular OM teacher training programs and intensives. Our 60, 200, and 500-hour Teacher Training programs may be structured in a variety of formats.
The content is always comprised of the following eight modules:
1. OM
Establishing the mandala, Clarifying Motivation,
Discovering the layers of OM yoga practice as a student and a teacher,
Svadyaya, Learning to teach 3 variations of Surya Namaskar
2. Yoga Body, Buddha Mind
Instruction and practice of Shamatha/Mindfulness meditation,
Dynamic Equilibrium, Obstacle as Path, Cultivating LovingKindness/maitri practice,
Exploring these themes in asana practice, Synchronizing Mind and Body
3. Transitions
Learning Whys and Hows of sequencing, Creating thematic content,
Learning to teach Standing poses, Balances and Twists, Seated twists
4. Turning Upside Down
Yoga sutra presentation, Weaving philosophy and dharma into an asana class,
Backbending, Neutralizers, Inversions
5. The Bones
Study and practice of anatomy specifically relating to asana practice.
6. Openings and Closings
Hip openers, Forward bends, Arm balances,
Movement relationship to inhaling and exhaling, Pranayama
7. Resting
Restoring the subtle body, More pranayama, Savasana,
Restorative yoga, Teaching basics/beginners
8. Joining Heaven and Earth
Manifesting your vision as a yoga teacher, Final Written Exam, Teaching a Final Class,
What about the business of yoga? What ifs? Closing Circle Vinyasa, Dedication |
