See how easy it is to get to OM by taking advantage of New York's bike
paths. Fresh off his OM yoga eco-retreat in Nicaragua, OM senior
teacher Brian Liem leads you on OM's first yoga and bike tour. An avid
bike rider and green activist, Brian will take you on a scenic, fun,
energizing and environmentally-friendly tour from upper-Manhattan's
graceful Ft. Tryon Park, through Riverside Park to the West Side
Highway Parks to OM. We'll start with a half hour warm-up class at Ft
Tryon, followed by a brisk often downhill, not too strenuous 10-mile
ride, and complete our journey with an hour and a half open-level class
with lots of stretch & restorative!
Open to all yoga levels. Please bring your own bike, bike helmet, and
water bottle (you can pre-pick up a reusable, eco-friendly Sigg bottle
from OM’s boutique not to mention biking and yoga clothes!) Workshop
includes unlimited water bottle refills and snacks at OM. We won't need mats or props for our mini-class at Ft Tryon Park and our
at-OM class includes mat, yoga props, and plenty of H2O!
Information about the meeting point at Ft. Tryon Park as well as subway
tips for getting there with your bike will be provided upon
registration. |
