Buddhist Studies and Meditation

OM offers several opportunities for you to develop your dharma

Don't miss this Monday's Meditation talk
when special guest teacher Acharya Eric Spiegel will discuss
"Why We're Meditating" Monday May 12 from 8 - 9:30pm

Acharya Eric Spiegel has been teaching in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition for over 30 years.  In addition to a 22 year career on Wall Street, Eric is known for his work with people with HIV and other life-threatening illnesses.  Lately he has been teaching extensively on the topics of fearlessness in relating with Death and the place of “Wealth and Power” in spirituality.  He is interested in exploring the nature of mind and meditation, not separate from the hard complexities of “real life”: how do we practice work, money, relationships, health, and aging while maintaining our windhorse and a forward vision about our life.
Eric is also an OM yoga certified teacher.

"I am so thrilled that Eric Spiegel is coming to do a guest teaching evening for our Monday night dharma class.   He is funny, inspiring and one of my personal most favorite dharma teachers." - Cyndi Lee
